EU Votes Against the Initial Approval of the Third Modification of the Special Plan of the Old Town
Miguel Ángel Pavón announced that his political group would formally present objections regarding the proposed urban planning modification. He strongly criticized the lack of transparency surrounding the process and argued that such a significant urban development proposal should have first been properly explained, discussed, and debated within the District 1 assembly before being submitted for approval. The spokesperson of the municipal EU group also requested the immediate withdrawal of the proposal from the agenda of the permanent urban planning commission, emphasizing the need for public participation and democratic discussion in major city planning decisions.
